MECHANISMS

Mechanisms are devices that transmit and convert forces and motion from a driving force or input element to an output element.

They allow us to carry out certain tasks more easily and efficiently.

Calification of mechanisms:

1. Transmiting motion. 

-Linear: levers, fixed pulley, movable pulley, compound pulley, etc.

-Circular: friction drives, pulley with belts, gear mechanisms and cogwheels, gear mechanisms with a chain, pulley train with bely, gear train, etc.

2. Transforming motion.

-From rotary to linear: rock and pinion system, nut and bolt system, wich hand crank handle, etc.

-From rotary into reciprocating: crank-link and slider, crank shoft.
